Be a part of the Early Intervention Team for Psychosis at Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust as a Band 5 Mental Health Practitioner. Help service users navigate their first psychotic episodes through effective care and support. In this role, you will work with individuals aged 14-65, joining a vibrant team dedicated to early intervention strategies.
Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, crafting care plans, and facilitating recovery-focused interventions. Support the service users over three years in a clinically supervised workplace, enriching both your skills and their lives. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain comprehensive assessments for service users
- Formulate and implement tailored care plans
- Guide therapeutic recovery activities to enhance welfare
- Provide education and support to service users' families
- Oversee care delivery from unqualified colleagues
Requirements:
- Current registration as a Mental Health Nurse, OT, or Social Worker
- Familiarity with managing complex mental health issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal capabilities
- Knowledge of relevant mental health legislation
- Collaborative mindset for multidisciplinary teamwork
