What you’ll be doing
As an Early Talent Programs & Strategy Co-op, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day coordination and success of the team. This opportunity offers exposure to both Early Talent Programming and Career Programs, providing a dynamic environment to learn, contribute, and grow.
In this role, you will provide ongoing administrative, technical, and project coordination support to People Leaders and their teams, helping to ensure services and projects are delivered in a timely, effective, and seamless manner. You will be trusted to work with a high degree of independence, exercising sound judgment, strong initiative, and a proactive mindset in anticipating and addressing potential issues.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organized, resourceful, and eager to contribute meaningfully while building strong partnerships across the team.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.Important information

- You must be currently enrolled in post-secondary education and returning to full-time studies to be eligible. However, you do not need to be in a registered co-op program to be considered for a role.

How you’ll succeed
- Communication – Communicate effectively with diverse audiences across a wide range of situations, using tact, diplomacy, and discretion to build positive working relationships and support productive outcomes.
- Initiative – Demonstrate initiative by working independently with minimal direction, proactively identifying, addressing, and helping prevent issues before they arise.
- Leveraging technology – Leverage software packages such as Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, desktop publishing etc., as well as various types of office equipment to support day-to-day business operations.
- Event planning – Work alongside program specialist to support end-to-end planning and execution of student programming events at CIBC, collaborating with event specialists to ensure thorough communication and effective promotion throughout the entire process.
