Role Description This is a part time, remote, contract role for PEBC OSCE Mock Exam Assessors. Assessors will evaluate performance in simulated OSCE stations, using standardized marking rubrics to provide fair and objective assessment of candidates’ clinical and communication skills. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing case materials, observing candidate interactions in mock exam sessions, scoring performance, and documenting feedback.

Assessors will collaborate with the Edge Plus team to ensure exam scenarios reflect current clinical practice and PEBC standards,



and may participate in periodic training or calibration sessions to maintain assessment consistency. Scheduling is flexible and may include evenings or weekends, based on mock exam dates and candidate demand.

Qualifications

- Clinical practice and pharmacy expertise: Licensed or eligible pharmacist in Canada (or equivalent), with solid knowledge of PEBC competencies, OSCE format, and contemporary patient care standards.
- Assessment and educational skills: Experience with learner evaluation, OSCE-style assessments, teaching, precepting, or mentoring pharmacy students or international graduates.
- Communication and interpersonal skills: Clear, professional verbal and written communication, ability to provide constructive feedback, and strong interpersonal skills in diverse, multicultural settings.
- Organization and technology skills: Comfort with online meeting platforms, digital assessment tools, and remote collaboration.
- Qualified attributes: Commitment to fairness and objectivity, attention to detail, adherence to confidentiality and ethical standards, and reliability in a remote contract environment.
- Preferred Experience: Previous involvement in PEBC preparation, OSCE examining or proctoring, academic or clinical teaching or simulation-based education is preferred, but not mandatory
