Electrical Package

Engineer for several packages including all clarifications and interfaces; this is for major electrical packages Designing the following: single lines, grounding layouts, cable tray direction, power layouts, cable schedule, wiring diagrams for P&C;, etc. Consult with other departments, suppliers and contractors to clarify specifications. Help prepare technical reports, tender documentation and field support (including commissioning/site inspection).

Ensure that engineering deliverables (e.g., drawings, specifications, analysis, budget estimates) comply with applicable regulations, standards, corporate procedures and sound engineering practices. Review drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness and quality of technical information and project documentation in accordance with QA/QC programs. Ensure that project deliverables are met in a timely manner to a high-quality.

Recognized undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering.



~ 5+ years’ experience in design of electrical systems within an EPCM in a heavy industrial environment. Working knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code is a must, and familiarity with international standards is advantageous. ~ Experience with building electrical systems, such as, fire alarms, security, lighting & communications, fibre network, and data network will be an asset. ~ Familiarity with power system study software such as ETAP, SKM, or Easy Power will be an asset. ~ Construction site service experience & working directly with client is required. ~ Solid verbal and written communication skills, planning and organizing abilities with excellent interpersonal skills. ~ Career advancement - Embark on a journey of continuous growth through technical training, mentorship initiatives, and networking opportunities If you have an entrepreneurial spirit and want to help set a new standard in sustainability, we’ll help you find your place.
