Piper Companies is seeking an Electrical Hardware Design Engineer to join a leading telecommunications technology company onsite Monday - Friday in Morrisville, NC . The ideal Electrical Hardware Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, validating, and supporting PCB-based hardware platforms while working closely with embedded firmware teams to develop and troubleshoot carrier-grade products.

Responsibilities of the Electrical Hardware Design Engineer: Design and develop PCB-based hardware solutions for telecommunications products. Create schematics, hardware documentation, and design specifications. Collaborate closely with firmware engineers on hardware and software integration. Participate in hardware architecture discussions and design reviews. Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for technical issues.

Qualifications of the Electrical Hardware Design Engineer: ~10+ years of electrical hardware design experience. ~ Strong PCB design and board-level development experience. ~ Knowledge of digital and analog circuit design.



~ Understanding of hardware architecture and chip-level design concepts. ~ Familiarity with Linux and RTOS environments. ~ Proficiency using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other test equipment. ~ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related hardware-focused discipline.
