Are you ready to design your future? Be our next Electrical Project Manager! EXP is searching for an Electrical Project Manager to join our Mechanical/Electrical team in our Hamilton, ON office. The successful applicant will be joining a diverse engineering group in Central Canada poised for growth and challenging opportunities well into the future.

Reports to the Mechanical/Electrical Manager or Project Manager with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision on projects from start to completion. Contributes to preparation of project proposals and other business development efforts.



Responsible for meeting EXP’s engineering quality standards on assigned projects.

Responsible for applying EXP’s risk management practices to all projects. Leads the design team to produce schematic design, design development, tender and construction documents that meet the project requirements within the allocated schedule and budget. Prepares, studies and reports on electrical system project work.

Executes complex electrical designs with conflicting design requirements or difficult coordination. Evaluates value engineering (cost saving) items with respect to the associated risk. The ideal candidate will have 5- years of experience in the Electrical Engineering field, with a preferred focus in building consulting engineering.

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.) products and electrical design software. AutoCAD experience required and REVIT MEP proficiency desired.
