Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Electrical Site Superintendent to lead and oversee electrical construction activities on a major project site for a four-month contract. This role is vital in ensuring that electrical installations are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with all project specifications and standards. The ideal candidate will possess solid supervisory skills, extensive construction experience, and a keen eye for quality control.

Duties

- Lead daily toolbox talks / morning safety briefings and enforce site safety requirements
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly site reports
- Coordinate day-to-day site activities and supervise subcontractor crews on the electrical scope
- Communicate regularly with the project office on schedule status and progress
- Read and work from electrical drawings and specifications
- Track progress against the project schedule and provide feedback/updates on schedule impacts
- Identify and raise site issues affecting design, schedule, or budget to the project team
- Prepare and submit RFIs as required
- Monitor work for quality and verify subcontractor work meets specification
- Support training record tracking and site access/screening requirements (e.g., client site orientation, safety certifications)
- Coordinate with client and utility representatives on site as required
- Support material and equipment coordination on site

Qualifications

- Proven experience supervising electrical construction projects within the commercial or industrial sectors
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation,



and construction estimating techniques
- Proficiency with construction management software
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets effectively while maintaining high-quality standards
- Excellent supervisory skills with a track record of leading diverse teams on busy construction sites
- Deep understanding of safety regulations and quality control procedures in electrical work
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints accurately
- Prior experience with site coordination, scheduling software, and project documentation is highly desirable
