Electrical Apprentice – Any Level Employment: Full-Time MSCP is seeking motivated Electrical Apprentices at any level to join our growing Ontario operations. This position is an opportunity for apprentices looking to build broad industrial electrical experience while progressing toward their Journeyperson certification. The role will support a combination of shop, project, and field activities , with work varying based on client and operational requirements.

You will work alongside experienced Journeyperson Electricians, project personnel, and other technical disciplines while gaining practical experience in electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and Electric Heat Tracing (EHT) systems. MSCP is committed to developing apprentices through hands-on experience, mentorship, training, and increasing responsibility as their skills and apprenticeship level progress. Apprentice, This Means An Opportunity To Develop practical industrial electrical skills under experienced Journeypersons. Gain exposure to Electric Heat Tracing (EHT)



and other specialized industrial electrical systems. Work across shop, project, and client-site environments.

Receive mentorship and practical training throughout your apprenticeship. Develop experience reading drawings, specifications, work packages, and electrical documentation. Take on increasing responsibility as your skills and apprenticeship level develop.

Build toward a long-term career within MSCP's expanding Ontario operations. As an Electrical Apprentice , responsibilities will vary according to your apprenticeship level, demonstrated competency, and project requirements. Work under the direction and supervision of qualified Journeyperson Electricians and project supervision.

Assist with the installation, maintenance, testing, and repair of industrial electrical systems and equipment. Support the installation and maintenance of Electric Heat Tracing (EHT) systems. Assist with cable pulls, cable preparation, terminations, junction boxes, conduit, cable tray, and electrical components.

Support the installation and connection of controllers, panels, instrumentation, and associated electrical equipment. Assist with electrical testing, troubleshooting, inspections, and commissioning activities appropriate to your apprenticeship level. Learn to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, specifications, isometrics, and work packages.

Prepare materials, tools, equipment,



and electrical components for field and project work. Assist with fabrication, assembly, wiring, and component testing where required. Use hand tools, power tools, meters, and electrical testing equipment appropriate to your level of training and authorization.

Maintain tools, equipment, materials, and work areas in a safe and organized condition. Complete required documentation, timesheets, work packages, and digital records accurately. Follow applicable electrical codes, client requirements, MSCP procedures, and secure work practices.

Travel to client and project sites as operational requirements dictate. Perform other electrical and project-support duties appropriate to your apprenticeship level.

Registered Electrical

Apprentice in Ontario, or eligible to register/continue an electrical apprenticeship in Ontario. All apprenticeship levels are encouraged to apply. Industrial, commercial, construction, maintenance, or Electric Heat Tracing experience is considered an asset but is not required for junior apprentices.

Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude. Demonstrated willingness to learn and develop within the electrical trade. Comfortable working in both shop and industrial field environments. Ability and willingness to travel to project and client sites as required.

Previous industrial safety training and certifications are considered an asset. We are interested in apprentices who want more than simply accumulating hours.
