Electronics Technician – Workshop Val-d’Or – In office The Electronics Technician is responsible for assembling, programming, testing, and repairing various electronic and communication systems and equipment. Assemble, repair, program, and test equipment and systems
- Perform various tests, analyses, and corrective actions to ensure that equipment meets Epiroc’s quality requirements and established standards
- Diagnose and identify the source of problems affecting all types of electronic equipment
- Participate in and recommend improvement initiatives to help achieve operational objectives
- Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in Electrical Engineering Technology, such as Programmable Electronics or Radio Communication Technology,
or any equivalent combination of education and experience
- One to three years of experience in electronics or communication systems
- Knowledge of the mining industry is considered an asset
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence is considered an asset.
