Secondary is a Catholic high school serving Grades 8–12 in North Vancouver, with an enrollment of approximately 615 students. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Counsellor to join our staff to cover a maternity leave from October 2026 to October 2027. The successful candidate will provide personal, academic, and career counselling services to students in a supportive, Christ-centred workplace, collaborating with staff and parents to promote student well‑being and success.
Provide individual and small-group counselling to support students' mental health, personal development, and well‑being. Offer academic advising and assist students with course selection, post-secondary planning, and career exploration. Contribute to the development of a positive, caring, and faith-based school climate.
Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology, Educational Counselling, or related field. Registration or eligibility for registration with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) or BC School Counsellors’ Association preferred.
Experience working with adolescents in a school setting is an asset. Commitment to Catholic education and support of the mission and values of CISVA.
