Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English and Math Teacher to join our educational team. This role involves helping Elementary level students with their Math and English assignments and homework. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, experience working with children, and a strong understanding of classroom dynamics. Duties

- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to students' language proficiency levels.
- Conduct in-person classroom instruction that emphasizes speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in English.
- Utilize various teaching methods and educational resources to enhance learning experiences.
- Provide individual tutoring sessions to address specific student needs and learning goals.
- Assess student progress regularly through assignments and informal evaluations.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and confidence.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best practices.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student achievements.




- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding student progress and areas for improvement.

Qualifications

- Proven experience working in an educational setting or tutoring environment.
- Strong proficiency in English language instruction and classroom management skills.
- Prior experience teaching English and Math.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage diverse learners.
- Classroom experience that demonstrates adaptability and creativity in teaching methods.
- Passion for education, cultural exchange, and helping students succeed in learning English and Math.

Job Type: Part-time

Work Location: In-Person

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1.0 – 4.0 per week
