Precision tool building with in-house capabilities ~ Design, prototyping, and modeling services ~ Cosmetic or protective coating equipment either through certified suppliers or in-house ~ Wide range of secondary operations including CNC machining, tapping, reaming, and drilling This position applies technical knowledge and expertise in the development and implementation of new and improved manufacturing processes, procedures and equipment. Develop/improve manufacturing processes by studying product requirements and then researching, designing, specifying, modifying and testing manufacturing methods and equipment

- Ensure that machine settings and programs are adhered to during production as per quoted cycle times and set-up sheets and perform a root cause analysis if they are not
- Determine job production data, including production time and material consumption for each manufacturing area to identify, summarize and analyze trends
- Initiate or otherwise support plant-wide continuous improvement initiatives
- Assist with manufacturing efficiency improvement by analyzing and planning workflow,



space requirements and equipment layout
- Provide support to engineering department on feasibility and prepare quotes for new and existing programs, when required
- Conduct studies and implement programs to determine optimum utilization of materials, machinery and resources
- Achieve facility targets and standards in safety, quality, delivery and cost
- Continuous improvement of process capability, process control and tooling performance
- Recommend development and improvement opportunities for manufacturing equipment and processes
- Investigate new and emerging technologies to improve quality and efficiency. Degree or Diploma in Manufacturing, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Previous die cast/injection molding machine experience preferred. Advanced level mechanical aptitude skills
- Able to read mechanical drawings
- Intermediate to advanced level computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office programs.
