Under the direction of the Team Lead, the Heavy Equipment Operator - Excavator Operator is responsible for experienced operation of an Excavator in an open pit mine worksite, or on a Civil Construction worksite. This is a safety-sensitive position that requires completion of pre-employment/pre-access testing. Operate an excavator to excavate, move, and load earth, gravel, rock, or other materials during mining related activities in a protected and efficient manner.

Accept instructions as directed, and adjust work/strategy according to changing conditions, policies and procedures as needed. Completion of a High School Diploma, or a GED equivalent is required. ~ Retention of a valid class five (5)
