Facility Saskatchewan Health Authority Department Senior Leadership Team Office - Chief Medical Officer Type Full-time regular Shift Information Days Number of Hours per Rotation 37.5hours per 1 weeks Travel Required Yes The Executive Assistant is directly accountable to the Chief Medical Officer of the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) and provides executive and project support in a one-on-one working relationship.

Assistant serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining the office of the Chief Medical Officer.
The Executive
Assistant also serves as a liaison to the portfolio, Executive Leadership Team and the office of the Chief Executive Office team. This position ensures that processes are in place to support the efficient and effective operation of the Chief Medical Officer, through accurate, timely and efficient execution of executive administrative support functions. The incumbent works closely, in a team-oriented and co-operative manner, with members of executive management team to assist in accomplishing the provincial health authority’s objectives.
This position will research, analyze and develop policies, briefings and proposals as required. Collaboration, coordination,
project management/organizational and communication is key to this role. The incumbent co-ordinates workflow with other administration support staff in the Executive Office and, in their absence, may provide support services the CEO, COO and other members of the Executive Leadership Team.
Minimum three years of experience working in a research/policy analyst or senior administrative assistant role. Undergraduate degree in administration, commerce or business. Additional training in the use of spreadsheets, databases and word processing software.
Exceptional planning, organizational and interpersonal skills. Expert written and verbal communication skills including excellent proficiency in editing material for clarity, accuracy and conciseness. Excellent computer skills, with a good working knowledge of various programs, including but not limited to the Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive and SharePoint, and the capability to learn new programs as required.
Possess a high degree of initiative, ingenuity, including the ability to work with little, and/or no, supervision. Travel within the province of Saskatchewan is required Valid class 5 driver’s license #
