Łııdlıı Kųę First Nation is seeking an experienced, dedicated and community-minded Executive Director to provide leadership and oversee the administration, programs, services and day-to-day operations of the First Nation.

Reporting to the Chief and Council, the Executive Director will provide professional leadership and support to Council while ensuring that the Nation's programs, services and operations are delivered effectively, responsibly, respectfully and in accordance with applicable legislation, policies, procedures, funding agreements and Council direction.

The successful candidate will be an organized and strategic leader who can build strong relationships with employees, community members, leadership, government agencies, organizations and business partners.

Key Responsibilities The Executive Director will:

- Provide overall leadership and management of Łııdlıı Kųę First Nation operations.
- Support Chief and Council in implementing strategic priorities, decisions and community initiatives.
- Oversee the delivery of First Nation programs and services.
- Manage and supervise staff and promote a positive, respectful and accountable workplace.
- Work closely with the Comptroller to oversee budgets, funding, financial reporting and internal financial controls.
- Ensure funding requirements, contracts, agreements and reporting obligations are met.
- Develop, review and implement policies, procedures and operational standards.
- Prepare reports, agendas, correspondence and other materials for Chief and Council and committees.
- Maintain effective records, documentation and administrative systems.
- Serve as a liaison with federal, territorial, regional, municipal and First Nation governments, agencies, organizations and businesses.
- Support community development planning and implementation.
- Identify funding opportunities and assist with proposals, projects and program development.
- Monitor and evaluate programs and services to ensure they are meeting community needs.
- Address membership concerns and work collaboratively with Chief and Council to respond to community priorities.
- Ensure confidentiality,



ethical conduct and responsible management of First Nation business.
- Represent Łııdlıı Kųę First Nation at local, regional, territorial and national meetings as required.
- Participate in community events, meetings, committees, training and other First Nation initiatives

Programs and Services The Executive Director will provide oversight to a broad range of programs and services, including:

- Finance
- Wellness
- Justice and Victim Service
- Lands and Resources
- Elders' Support
- Children's Day Care
- Communications/Radio
- Prenatal Program
- Community development and membership services

Qualifications and Experience The successful candidate will preferably have:

- A degree or diploma in business administration, public administration, management, Indigenous governance or a related field.
- Significant management and leadership experience.
- Experience managing programs and delivering community-based services.
- Experience in administration, budgeting and financial management.
- Experience supervising staff and managing human resources.
- Knowledge of First Nations governance, administration and community development.
- Knowledge of First Nations issues, land claims and self-government initiatives.
- Knowledge of applicable legislation, policies, procedures and funding agreements.
- Experience working with government agencies, funding bodies and community organizations is an asset.
