Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and Experienced Concrete Flooring Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive, hands-on experience in the complete lifecycle of specialized concrete flooring, from heavy surface preparation to high-end finishes. This is not an entry-level position; prior professional experience with concrete grinding, self-leveling underlayments, and industrial coatings is strictly required.

Responsibilities

- Surface Preparation: Perform thorough concrete grinding, shot-blasting, and surface prep using walk-behind grinders, hand grinders, and industrial dust containment systems.
- Slab Remediation: Route and repair structural cracks, fill joints, and treat spalled concrete.
- Underlayments: Mix, pour, and perfectly finish self-leveling underlayments and patch compounds to create flat, flat-plane surfaces.
- Coating Application: Professionally mix and apply epoxy, polyaspartic, urethane cement, and other industrial protective coatings (including flake and broadcast systems).
- Concrete Polishing: Execute multi-step concrete polishing processes, including the application of densifiers, sealers, and burnishing.
- Maintain, clean, and safely operate specialized flooring equipment and machinery

Required Qualifications & Experience:





- Minimum 2+ years of qualified experience in epoxy flooring, industrial coatings, and concrete polishing (Required).
- Proven expertise operating walk-behind floor grinders, industrial vacuums, and planetary polishing equipment.
- Demonstrated experience handling and installing self-leveling underlayments.
- Strong understanding of mixing ratios, working pot-life, and curing times for multi-part resin systems.
- Ability to read project layouts, follow safety protocols, and handle the physical demands of the job (lifting heavy materials, prolonged standing).
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
