Job Title: IMAC & Deployment Technician (French or Bilingual).
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Location: Montreal, QC (on the road)
Start Date: September 28, 2026
Schedule: Rotating shift schedule
- Regular shift : 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Late Shift : 11:00 am to 7:00 pm or 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm
- Early Shift : 7:00 am to 3:00 pm
- Stand by Shift – this could be before a regular shift or after a regular shift or both
- Weekend Shift – If you work Sat and Sun, you will get 2 days off during the week
- Overnight Shift – This is usually for overnight MACS
Shift times may vary based on customer installation requirements.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Rate: $23.50/hr to $25/hr ($45,825 to $48,750)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform break/fix troubleshooting and repairs on VLTs and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot, replace, and maintain PIN pads and associated peripherals.
- Assist Lead Technicians with IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) activities.
- Secure VLTs inside the vehicle and safely transport them to customer locations.
- Load and unload VLTs and other equipment using proper lifting and handling techniques.
- Drive a 16' cube van equipped with a lift gate to and from customer locations.
- Safely move and position VLTs and equipment at customer sites.
- Assist Lead Technicians with the physical installation, setup, and positioning of VLTs.
- Follow established procedures for securing, transporting, handling, and installing equipment.
- Maintain a skilled and customer-focused approach while working at customer locations.
- Adhere to all applicable health and safety procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous experience in field service, technical support, equipment installation,
or break/fix is preferred.
- Comfortable troubleshooting and replacing PIN pads and peripheral equipment .
- Ability to safely lift, move, load, and unload heavy equipment.
- Physically fit and capable of performing the manual handling requirements of the role.
- Valid driver's licence and comfortable driving a 16-foot cube van with lift gate .
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a field service team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe equipment handling.
- French/English bilingualism is considered an asset.
Language Requirements:
- French fluency is required.
- Bilingual (French/English) candidates are considered an asset.
Background Check: Successful candidates must successfully complete an LQ Background Check prior to starting employment.
