We are seeking a dedicated and experianced Field Technician to join our team. In this role, you will support large mining and infrastructure projects with QC/QA services, ensuring the project is completed in accordance with the specifications to deliver a quality final product.
Responsibilities
- Perform tasks using proper safety procedures
- Read and understand project specifications and engineering drawings
- Perform surveys using basic survey equipment up to total station and GPS RTK as required
- Complete on site testing and collect samples as required
- Ensure tools and equipment are kept in good working condition
- Maintain collected data and paperwork in organized fashion
- Behave in a professional and appropriate manner
- Work with minimal supervision
Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be legally able to work in Canada
- Must have valid G drivers license
- Must have certifications and experience in Concrete and Compaction testing - non qualified persons will not be considered
- Comfortable using Microsoft office software
