The Controller reports to the Director of Finance and overseesthe full accounting cycle and provides accurate, timely financial informationto support business decisions.

Accountingoperations: Oversee generalledger activities, reconciliations, journal entries, accounts payable, accountsreceivable, payroll accounting, and fixed assets. Coordinateannual budgets and periodic forecasts, monitor performance against plan, andexplain significant variances and trends. Establish and maintain effective financialcontrols, policies, and procedures, and ensure compliance with tax, regulatory,and reporting requirements.

Audit andtax support: Coordinate external annual audit, prepare supportingdocumentation, respond to auditor inquiries, and support tax filings and otherstatutory reporting.



Monitor cash flow, banking activity, receivables,payables, inventory, and other working capital accounts.

Financialanalysis: Provide management with clear, actionable analysis ofprofitability, costs, margins, risks, and overall business performance.

Systemsand process improvement: Enhance accounting processes, reporting tools,data quality, automation, and the effective use of financial systems.

Teamleadership: Lead, coach, and develop accounting staff, assignresponsibilities, and maintain appropriate review and approval processes. Current CPA designation. cost accounting experience is preferred. Proficiency with accounting software, preferablyMicrosoft Dynamics 365. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Robust knowledge of financial reporting,budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

Experience supervising and mentoring accountingstaff while serving as a financial advisor to senior leadership.
