Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for leading budgeting and forecasting initiatives and strategically analyzing financial data to identify trends and improve decision making. They will be responsible to support with analysis and reporting for audits, support with preparing, analyzing and presenting financial results and working to improve current processes and operational efficiency, including through financial models and the configuration and implementation of an ERP system. This position is full time, will require in office expectations a couple times a week in our Waterloo, ON office.

Competitive salary, comprehensive health and dental benefits The salary range is $90,000 to $110,000 , and placement within the range will be determined in accordance with company policies and procedures, as well as the candidate’s knowledge, skills, qualifications, and relevant experience Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and anomalies. Participate in analysis and reporting for audits, Senior Leadership and Board reporting.



Proactively identify system improvement opportunities and finance processes to streamline workflows.

Data reporting: Using financial data to provide insights, including supporting the data analytics and payroll and benefits teams. Support in updating financial policies when necessary. Participate in configuration and implementation ERP system.

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or equivalent. Minimum 3 - 5 years' progressive experience in a Financial Planning and Analysis role A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.

Experience in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, Sage is considered an asset.

Experience working in the health care sector would be an asset.

Experience with building and implementing new systems considered an asset. Proficient with Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, scheduling systems, Power BI tools. Ability to simplify complex financial data.
