The selected candidate will physically work in our Sudbury, ON office location at 19 Lisgar Street. In accordance with the current direction of the Treasury Board Secretariat, which may be amended at any time, FedNor has implemented a hybrid work model. Accordingly, employees in the Sudbury office are required to work on site a minimum of three (3) days per week, or the equivalent of 60% of their regular schedule.
Intent of the process The intent of this process is to staff one Financial Analyst bilingual imperative BBB/BBB position on an indeterminate basis.

You need (essential for the job)
Your application must clearly explain how you meet the following
Education
Bachelor’s degree from a recognized post-secondary institution with specialization in accounting, finance, business administration, commerce, or economics.
Experience Experience in at least one (1) of the following areas:
- Budgeting
- Financial reporting
- Financial forecasting
- Financial analysis, advice and recommendations
- Financial policy and controls
- Accounting (i.e. accounts payable, accounts receivable)
- Reviewing financial information and verifying accuracy and completeness
- Using Microsoft Excel advanced features (such as graphics, pivot tables, V look ups, etc.)
Abilities & Competencies
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and prioritize tasks;
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing;
- Ability to communicate effectively orally;
- Working Effectively with Others;
- Thinking Things Through;
- Showing Initiative.
Language requirements (essential for the job)

Asset Qualifications
- Experience in using the financial system SAP.
