As a Senior Financial Planner, you will develop networks to grow our client base, raise awareness of our company and our services within the education community, increase investments from existing clients within your assigned territory and work closely with our lending team within Kingston and the surrounding area.
Achieve sales objectives through business development, strategic planning, and effective pipeline management. Monitor performance results and adjust activities to meet business goals. Develop referral networks and community partnerships to generate new business opportunities.
Deliver financial planning and investment presentations, workshops, and webinars. Support outreach initiatives and contribute to team and organizational objectives as required. Develop and implement personalized financial and investment plans, providing clients with guidance, education, and ongoing support to help achieve their financial goals.
Conduct portfolio reviews, prepare asset allocation recommendations, and ensure investments remain aligned with client objectives, risk tolerance, and KYC requirements. Monitor client progress through regular reviews and adjust financial plans and investment strategies as needs and circumstances evolve. This role involves travelling and using own vehicle to meet with clients.
Current CFP (Certified Financial Planner)designation holder, approved to be registered with a CIRO firm in the province of Ontario. Strong candidates holding the PFP (Personal Financial Planner) designation and working towards the CFP designation may be considered for the Financial Planner role. Minimum of 7 years of direct investment sales/financial planning/advisory experience.
Proven experience in developing and delivering holistic andtailored financial plans to clients. Strong interpersonal skills in managing client partnerships, proven ability to engage and nurture long-term relationships. Advanced computer literacy and robust numerical aptitude.
