Primaris REIT is currently hiring a dedicated and enthusiastic Property Accountant to join the team at our Halifax Shopping Centre in Halifax, ON. This opportunity may be filled at either the Property Accountant or Senior Property Accountant level. As the Property Accountant, you will provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients and provide efficient and accurate accounting of a retail real estate portfolio owned by Primaris.

Monthly reporting, including month-end closes, actual to budget variance analysis, GST & QST returns, bank reconciliations, etc. Prepare quarter-end audit packages and liaise with auditors Draft annual financial statements and cost statements Prepare annual tenant operating cost, CAM recoveries and realty tax billings Assist with the integration of new property acquisitions as required To excel in this role, we are looking for candidates who are results driven, reliable, and flexible. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting,



Business Administration or related field Earned or are enrolled in a program to achieve a qualified accounting designation Proficiency with Microsoft Excel ERP system experience an asset (Yardi Preferred) Bilingualism an asset (French/English) Join us and play a vital role in providing outstanding experiences to our valued customers and tenants.
