Hamilton Fire Control Company is a leader in Fire Protection services and has been established in the Hamilton and surrounding area since 1954. Today, Hamilton Fire Control is involved in the design, fabrication and installation of fire sprinkler, fire alarm and emergency lighting systems. Our team consists of over 30 individuals located in Hamilton, Ontario.

Hamilton Fire Control is looking for an organized, detail-oriented Fire Protection Estimator & Service Coordinator to prepare repair estimates and schedule inspections and repairs. This role works closely with customers, technicians and management to keep work moving from inspection findings through repair completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Review inspection reports and technician notes to identify required repairs and deficiencies.
- Prepare accurate repair estimates, including labour, materials and equipment.
- Obtain supplier pricing and confirm parts availability.
- Send estimates to customers and follow up on outstanding approvals.
- Schedule inspections and approved repairs, coordinating customer access,
technician availability and required materials.
- Assign work based on technician qualifications, job requirements and estimated duration.
- Prepare work orders and confirm purchase orders or other required approvals.
- Communicate schedules, job details and changes to customers and technicians.
- Maintain accurate calendars, trackers and job records.
- Follow up on outstanding paperwork and completed work to support timely invoicing.
- Keep customers informed about appointments, repair progress and next steps.
Qualifications
- Experience in estimating, service coordination, scheduling or a related administrative role.
- Fire protection industry experience is an asset.
- Ability to review technical reports and prepare clear, accurate estimates.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Confident communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and respond to schedule changes.
- Comfortable using email, spreadsheets, shared calendars and business software.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online is an asset.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
