Role Overview

As a Foam Production Associate, you’ll be responsible for fabricating and assembling foam products in accordance with technical drawings and customer specifications. You’ll play a key role in ensuring every product meets SmartShield’s quality standards while maintaining an organized and safe production environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Assemble foam products in accordance with technical drawings.




- Perform ongoing quality checks to ensure products meet customer specifications and internal quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times.
- Complete Daily/Monthly equipment and workspace inspections.
- Inform management when supplies or materials are running low.
- Support the training of current employees on fabrication techniques and department processes.
- Conduct ongoing quality control checks on products being built to ensure specifications are met.
- Provide written updates of daily work output.
- Follow established product traceability procedures.
- Package finished products into boxes and onto shipping pallets.
- Organize and store incoming shipments designated for Foam Production department.
- Provide suggestions on improvements that could enhance production efficiency and quality.

The Skills You Bring You’ll do well in this role if you bring:

- 1 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing, fabricating, and/or industrial environment, or a strong willing to learn.
- The ability to read and understand technical drawings, or an aptitude to learn.
- Comfort in handling large or bulky materials.
- The ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage tasks throughout the day.

- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
