Job Summary

Come join our vibrant team as a Front of House Server. In this dynamic role, you will be the friendly face that welcomes guests, takes orders, offer complimentary drinks and ensures their needs are met with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your ability to manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining exceptional customer service will be key to fostering a warm, positive and inviting atmosphere.

Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Square, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining balanced registers
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, adhering to food safety and food handling protocols
- Assist in food preparation and serving, ensuring proper presentation and quality control
- Manage time effectively by prioritizing tasks during busy periods to deliver prompt service without sacrificing quality
- Tend to the casino gaming floor offering complimentary drinks
- Adaptability to fast and slow pace ( winter season is much slower than racing season)
- Complete any daily tasks/duties listed on the checklists

Experience

- Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a positive attitude above all




- Familiarity with POS systems such as Square or similar platforms is a plus
- Solid customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and basic math for accurate bill calculations and cash handling
- Experience in food industry roles involving serving, cashiering, or hospitality enhances your ability to succeed in this position
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tables or tasks simultaneously
- A background in food preparation or kitchen experience is beneficial but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Obtain a CAT 1 License will be necessary in which does require a background check (application requires after training)
- Smart serve is required

Please note that this job is inside a casino and age requirement is 19+. Reliable vehicle is needed. Background check through AGCO will be required to obtain Gaming license. This is a unionized job. Work hours vary and consistency is not guaranteed for the same schedule as the schedule is based of shift bids, based on seniority, Ideally this will most likely vary from 1-3 shifts evening shifts per week with some weeks possibly offering more.
