Job Title: Frontend Developer & Administrator – BaaN ERP

Introduction

This role involves developing and administering BaaN ERP applications with a focus on frontend development and system administration. The ideal candidate will work remotely and be part of the travel and transportation industry.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Hands-on experience with BaaN ERP, preferably BaaN IVc4, and the BaaN Tools Module

- Experience with one or more BaaN ERP modules: Finance, Distribution, Manufacturing

- Solid PL/SQL and SQL skills with the ability to extract and query data from Oracle databases

- Strong UNIX Shell Scripting experience and familiarity with crontab scheduling

- Hands-on experience with Oracle APEX

- Broader BaaN IVc4 administration/development experience

- Experience across multiple BaaN ERP modules (Finance, Distribution, Manufacturing)

- Additional Oracle/UNIX automation and data extraction experience

- Prior work experience in the travel and transportation industry

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

- Develop, customize, maintain, and support BaaN ERP applications using the BaaN Tools Module

- Provide BaaN ERP administration and production support,



troubleshooting application and system issues

- Work across BaaN modules including Finance, Distribution, and Manufacturing

- Develop and maintain PL/SQL and SQL queries, procedures, and scripts for Oracle database operations

- Extract, validate, and analyze data from Oracle databases to support business and application requirements

- Develop and maintain UNIX shell scripts for application support, data processing, and automation

- Configure and monitor UNIX crontab schedules for recurring jobs and automated processes

- Develop, enhance, and support applications using Oracle APEX

- Investigate and resolve BaaN, Oracle, UNIX, and integration-related production issues

- Perform application testing, debugging, and deployment support for enhancements and fixes

- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to understand requirements and implement BaaN solutions

- Monitor scheduled jobs and batch processes, identify failures, and take corrective action

- Maintain technical documentation for BaaN configurations, scripts, database processes, and support procedures
