Correctional Service Canada based in 250 Montée St-François, Laval, QC H7C 1S5 is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Warehouseperson who are self-motivated and have good interpersonal skills. The candidate who got selected will be required to start work as soon as possible. The vacancies refer to Casualemployment or Full time job.

The selected candidate will be required to work during the day shift. The candidate will be required to transport and distribute materials and goods. The candidate will be responsible for picking orders and stocking shelves.

The candidate will be required to load, unload, and move materials and products using a variety of equipment. The candidate will be expected to organise and keep inventory. The candidate will be responsible for storing cargo and materials.

The candidate must be able to use computerised inventory control systems. The candidate will be expected to keep accurate records of all stocked products and to provide management with an accurate representation of all goods shipped and received. The candidate will be expected to monitor inventory and report any missing or lost items to management.

The candidate will be expected to maintain the company database accurately, including all stock and warehouse items. The candidate will be responsible for inspecting all stock for damage and keeping damage records.



The candidate will be responsible for checking, verifying, and filling out customer invoices.

The candidate must follow all health and safety policies as well as quality requirements. The candidate should be fluent in English or French languages. The candidate should have minimum qualification of Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum 1 to less than 7 months of working experience in similar industry. The candidate must have Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate and Forklift Operator Certification. The candidate should be organized and versatile in nature.

The candidate should have excellent customer service skills. The candidate should be Customer-oriented and friendly. The candidate should have the ability to work quickly without compromising quality. The candidate should be self-motivated and capable of identifying and completing necessary tasks without direct supervision.

The candidate should be self-disciplined and trusted to work independently, as well as capable of working with minimal supervision. The candidate should have prior experience operating industrial lift trucks and forklifts, as well as Dollies and hand trucks.
