Mrs P's Bakery is well known for it's delicious famous oat cakes and homestyle baking goods. We believe team work needs to be a pillar at the base of each successful day. We are here to support each other by working hard, staying motivated and helping when we can.

We are looking for hard working individuals to join our team for full time baker shifts. Hiring positions must be reliable and able to multitask. A successful candidate will enjoy working in a busy workplace and be able to multitask effectively while still meeting strict quality standards.

Responsibilities:

- Apply detailed icing, or drizzled designs using specialized tools.
- Dip cookies evenly into chocolate or glaze to ensure consistent coverage and thickness.
- Inspect finished baked goods to ensure they meet the bakery's quality, presentation, and sizing standards.
- Package baked goods safely in boxes, trays, or bags to prevent smudging or breaking.




- Ensuring that all bakery items are properly packaged and labeled for shipment.
- Ensuring that all orders are accurate and meet customer specifications.
- Adhering to food safety and sanitation regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Keeping track of stock levels and restocking as needed.
- Ability to work under strict deadlines and meet client high expectations
- Utilizing adequate quantities and rotating products to keep spoilage/waste to a minimum.
- Ability to use hands and appliances, and lift heavy items ( 50 lbs ) for prolonged amounts of time in a hot, hectic atmosphere
- Strong communication skills, ability to manage time and resources and general planning.
- Close attention to the details, especially when inspecting materials and products for quality.

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
