We are partnering with a leading organization in the financial services sector to find a Finance Manager, External Reporting who will play a key role in delivering accurate, transparent, and compliant financial disclosures while supporting strategic business decisions. In this leadership role, you'll collaborate with finance, tax, treasury, FP&A;, and audit teams to ensure reporting excellence across the organization.

You'll also mentor a small team, provide technical accounting expertise, and help shape reporting processes that strengthen governance, compliance, and continuous improvement. You'll ensure all financial reporting is accurate, complete, and compliant with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements. You'll research complex accounting matters, prepare technical accounting memos, and support the implementation of new accounting standards.

You'll oversee relationships with external auditors, coordinate audit activities, and maintain robust reporting controls. You'll mentor and develop two direct reports, providing technical guidance, setting priorities, and supporting their professional growth.



5+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting, technical accounting, and regulatory reporting. ~ Experience within a public company environment and/or Big Four public accounting is strongly preferred. ~ GAAP, regulatory disclosure requirements, and complex consolidations. ~ Proven experience leading or mentoring a small team in a fast-paced finance environment. ~ Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex accounting concepts for senior stakeholders.
