Youth and Emerging Adult Program seeks a full-time Occupational Therapist for a 6-month position at SCEIS. You will engage in education and employment interventions while working within an interprofessional team.
Key responsibilities include planning evidence-based treatments and supporting the NAVIGATE model focused on early intervention and recovery. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver education and employment interventions for youth
- Assess and implement clinical care using Slaight Integrated Care Pathway
- Support job development and liaise with community agencies
- Provide supervision to Master's Occupational Therapy students
- Engage patients and their support networks in care planning Requirements:
- Registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
- Three years of experience in mental health
- Knowledge of crisis intervention principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Utilize your expertise in clinical settings and recovery-oriented care to impact young individuals at CAMH.
