Join Essex-Windsor EMS as a Full time Shift Scheduling Clerk at the Essex Civic Centre. Maintain staff schedules and manage compliance in a key support role within a 24/7 operation. In this permanent position, the Shift Scheduling Clerk will report to the Scheduling Supervisor, actively ensuring accurate staff scheduling and compliance with legislative requirements.
Candidates will utilize exceptional detail orientation and organizational skills to handle daily scheduling and administrative tasks along with excellent customer service capabilities. You will make impactful contributions to the team by managing the scheduling software and administrative documentation processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Update and maintain EWEMS schedule for optimal coverage
- Process scheduling requests according to policies
- Coordinate replacement staffing for absences
- Monitor compliance of scheduling data and escalate issues
- Provide general reception coverage and handle inquiries
Requirements:
- 1-2 years in scheduling and administrative roles
- Two-year college diploma in a related field
- Experience with scheduling systems like Kronos
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Valid Ontario Class “G” driver’s license
