Location & Hybrid Model Candidates must be able to commute to our Richmond office 2 times per month We embrace a flexible hybrid work model with primarily remote work We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Fund Accountant to join our BC team. Reporting to the Manager, Fund Accounting, this entry-level role supports o perational excellence by ensuring the accurate and timely calculation of Net Asset Value per Unit (NAVPU) for assigned client portfolios. The role plays a key part in delivering high-quality service to clients while contributing to continuous process improvement.
As part of a client-focused Fund Accounting team, you will collaborate across geographic locations, take ownership of deliverables, and consistently strive to exceed client expectations. Maintain the accounting records of Client portfolios (trades, expenses, accruals, etc.) Produce a daily, weekly, or monthly net asset values for each client in an accurate and timely manner Prepare draft financial statements,
audit information packages and tax returns for clients Post-secondary education in a relevant field Advanced Microsoft Office skills – particularly Excel Work with minimal supervision to prioritize and manage work Nice-to-Haves / Assets Possess or in process of obtaining a professional designation such as CPA, CFA etc. Fund accounting experience, in a daily or monthly valuation environment Bring energy and commitment to their work, with a robust drive for excellence and continuous improvement.
