Elevate patient care as a General Imaging Radiological Technologist at Nova Scotia Health. This permanent, full-time role requires expertise in radiological technology and minimal supervision. Reporting to the Manager of Diagnostic Imaging, you will provide patient-centered care while operating advanced radiological equipment.
The position requires independent judgment and effective communication in a multidisciplinary environment. Additionally, you must follow the ALARA principle to ensure safety while performing diagnostic procedures. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate radiological equipment with minimal supervision
- Provide effective patient-centered care and support
- Maintain communication in a multidisciplinary team
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and ALARA principles
- Travel to other sites as necessary
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited School of Radiological Technology
- CAMRT certification and NSCMIRTP licensure
- Experience in multiple diagnostic modalities is an asset
- Basic Life Support Certification required
- Robust organizational skills with the ability to work independently
