Responsibilities
- Perform grinding, cleaning, and finishing of metal parts and components.
- Use hand grinders and other basic power tools safely.
- Remove excess material, sharp edges, burrs, rust, and debris from parts.
- Clean finished components and prepare them for the next production stage.
- Lift, move, and handle heavy materials and components.
- Maintain a clean and organized production area.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
Requirements
- Previous grinding, metal shop, manufacturing, or general labour experience preferred.
- Must be physically robust and able to perform repetitive manual work.
- Comfortable using grinders and power tools.
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials.
- Reliable, hardworking, and safety-conscious.
- CSA-approved safety boots required.
