Job Summary

We are seeking reliable and physically capable General Labourers to support warehouse operations at a furniture and appliance facility in Scarborough. The role involves loading and unloading furniture and appliances, team lifting, organizing materials, and safely using warehouse material-handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Load and unload furniture, appliances, and other warehouse materials.
- Perform team lifting and move heavy or bulky items safely.
- Use material-handling equipment such as pump trucks and walkies.
- Assist with general warehouse activities as directed by the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and protected work area.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and supervisor instructions.
- Be available for varying on-call shifts,



including shifts that may exceed 8 hours.

Requirements
- Previous warehouse, general labour, furniture, appliance, or material-handling experience is an asset.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and moving heavy/bulky items.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and instructions.
- Must have required PPE:
- CSA-approved green-tag safety boots
- Safety vest
- Safety gloves

Compensation & Conditions
- 30-minute lunch break deducted
- On-call shifts; hours and shift duration may vary.
- Workers must bring their own food and water.

Pay: $17.95 per hour
