Duperow Co-op has an exciting opportunity and invites applications for the position of General Manager (GM) located in the community of Biggar, SK. As part of the Co-operative Retailing System, Duperow Co-op provides essential farm services: including bulk seed treating, agronomy support, and heavy equipment rentals. Though the hamlet of Duperow has changed over the years, the co‑op remains a vital economic hub and community fixture for area farmers.

Strategy – Working closely with the Board to interpret our vision and managing the Co-operative’s strategy by directing all aspects of the business. Operations - Responsible for overall administration, co-ordination, and control of the retail, and ensuring daily success with a hands‑on approach.

Relationships – Using excellent communication skills, builds and enhances relationships with members, customers, team members. Acts as a liaison between the community and the retail. Since 1944, Duperow Co-op has proudly served the Duperow and Biggar regions of Saskatchewan.

Through the work that we do, we help to build, fuel, feed and grow Western Canadian communities together. Have 5-7 years relevant experience with 1-3 years leading people within the retail industry.

Co‑op experience is considered an asset (a combination of education and experience may be considered). Have a demonstrated ability to ensure accountability, manage conflict, and balance stakeholders needs. Are self‑motivated, a quick learner, and requires minimal supervision.
