The Strategic Sourcing Manager is accountable for the development and delivery of strategic sourcing plans for assigned categories and client account. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to category planning and delivery, strategy development and delivery; leading opportunities assessments, competitive bids, supplier performance measurement and management, supplier contract development and implementation. In addition, the individual in this role is also accountable for identifying and implementing leverage opportunities across all accounts and achieving greater efficiencies and cost savings for categories and client managed.
The position is an account dedicated role and at this level, categories managed are typically of lower to medium complexity, value and/or risk. Any previous experience in Facility Management and/or Financial Institutions will be preferred.
Strategic Category Management
Planning & Delivery Develops and implements sourcing strategies that maximize value and mitigate risks to BGIS and its clients. Leads and performs opportunities assessment activities and drives leverage across all client accounts.
Supplier Performance
Measurement & Management Leads the identification and implementation of performance metrics to measure supplier performance. Leads supplier performance measurement and management.
Accountable for supplier performance for assigned categories and reports on supplier sustainability.
Leads the negotiation, development, implementation, amendments and monitoring of supplier contractual agreements. Develops maintains standard templates for strategic sourcing documentations including but not limited to contract agreements, scopes of work, service level agreements, and letters of agreements.
Special
Projects ~ Special projects as assigned. Fully bilingual (required). In-depth strategic sourcing and supply chain management knowledge. University graduation or professional certification (e.g. Demonstrated ability to translate strategic intent into tactical action plans, implementation plans, delivery and measurable results.
Strategic thinking ability, tactical implementation ability. Robust finance, business and procurement background. Procurement and contract management experience. Computer proficiency in MS Office applications.
Ability to quickly learn proprietary databases.
Supply Chain Management Professional
Designation. This is a regular, full-time position with a salary range of $75,440 - $94,300 per annum. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidate’s competencies, including but not limited to experience, education and performance related to this role. #Job Schedule Full time Job Shift Day
