GHD is seeking a Graduate Quality Assurance Inspector - Transportation to join our Construction Phase Services team and support the delivery of engineering consulting services for major transportation infrastructure projects across Ontario. Catherines, or Mississauga office. A new grad that carries out defined field tasks and assists with data collection for construction delivery.
Applies GHD procedures and basic digital tools to support consistent field practices. Builds foundational experience and prepares for more complex field assignments. Our workplace thrives on a hybrid model, combining in-office collaboration and flexibility.
Join us in office, three days a week to contribute,
connect and excel in our vibrant environment. Completing day-to-day inspections of Highway / Road / Bridge and Sewer / Watermain projects in accordance with client terms of reference and manuals
- Working with Senior Inspectors and other team members to make payment recommendations to Contract Administrator and client staff
- Daily completion of project records / diary entries
- Monitoring contractor work for compliance with contract specifications
- Working nights, weekends, extended shifts
- Working overtime hours as necessary. Work is seasonal in nature and will likely involve greater hours of work in summer than in winter months
- Pending completion of Civil Engineering Technician or Technologist diploma, or completion of Civil Engineering degree.
General Experience: 0-2 years of experience in related field. Past experience in construction field work is considered an asset
- Waterloo: $28,00 hourly - Salary Range is based on the preferred work location.
