ReFace Designer & Production Specialist

Location: Lethbridge, Alberta

Company: Chinook Auto Supplies

Position: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday–Friday

About the Role

Chinook Auto Supplies is looking for a ReFace Designer & Production Specialist to join our growing team in Lethbridge.

This is a hands-on hybrid position combining production and graphic design.

The first part of each day will be focused on producing and fulfilling customer orders. Once daily production is completed, the remainder of the day will be spent designing and developing new ReFace™ gauge overlay products.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both creative design and hands-on manufacturing and wants to see the products they design actually being produced, shipped, and installed in customers’ vehicles.

Typical Day: Morning — Production & Order Fulfillment

Your first priority each day will be completing production requirements and ensuring customer orders are ready to ship.

Responsibilities may include

- Producing ReFace™ gauge overlays and related components
- Operating printers, plotters, cutters, and other production equipment
- Preparing files for printing and cutting
- Laminating, trimming, assembling, and packaging products
- Completing quality-control inspections
- Picking and fulfilling customer orders
- Ensuring the correct product, variation, and components are included
- Maintaining production equipment and keeping the workspace organized
- Monitoring materials and notifying the team when supplies need to be reordered
- Helping improve production processes, consistency, and efficiency

Production accuracy is extremely key. Every order needs to be completed correctly and to our quality standards before leaving the facility.

Afternoon — ReFace Product Design & Development

Once daily production is completed,

your focus will shift toward developing new ReFace products and expanding our vehicle coverage.

Responsibilities include

- Designing gauge cluster overlays in Adobe Illustrator
- Recreating factory gauge layouts accurately
- Creating new visual styles and product variations
- Building print-ready production files
- Measuring and designing around physical gauge clusters
- Making revisions based on prototype testing
- Working closely with our product development team
- Maintaining organized master files, templates, and version control
- Preparing final artwork for production
- Updating existing designs when fitment or production improvements are identified
- Helping develop multiple vehicle platforms throughout the year

You will work from physical gauge clusters, reference material, measurements, photographs, and other technical information to create products that look professional and fit correctly.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is:

- Highly proficient in Adobe Illustrator
- Comfortable working with precise measurements and detailed artwork
- Extremely detail-oriented
- Organized and able to manage multiple designs at different stages
- Comfortable working independently
- Willing to perform repetitive production work when required
- Able to switch between hands-on production and creative design
- Mechanically inclined or comfortable learning automotive components
- Able to identify small inconsistencies in print quality, alignment,

fitment, and artwork
- Reliable and accountable
- Interested in improving processes rather than simply following them

Experience

Experience in any of the following would be valuable:

- Adobe Illustrator
- Graphic design
- Print production
- Vinyl cutting or plotter operation
- UV printing
- Sign production
- Decal manufacturing
- Automotive graphics
- Product development
- Manufacturing or assembly
- Vehicle gauge clusters or automotive electronics

Automotive experience is an asset but is not required.

We care more about your ability to learn, your attention to detail, and the quality of your work.

What Success Looks Like A successful person in this position will:

- Keep daily production and customer orders on schedule
- Produce products with very low error rates
- Maintain consistent quality
- Develop accurate new ReFace products
- Keep design projects organized and moving forward
- Become increasingly independent in developing new vehicle applications
- Help us improve how products are designed and manufactured
- Contribute ideas that make production faster, easier, or more reliable

Why This Role Is Different

You won’t just design something and hand it off to someone else.

You will be involved in the entire process — from developing the artwork to producing the finished product and seeing it shipped to customers across North America.

As Chinook Auto Supplies grows, there will also be opportunities to take on more responsibility within our ReFace product development and production operation.
