Responsibilities

- Consult with clients to understand their desired hair colour outcomes and recommend suitable options based on their hair type and lifestyle.
- Perform professional hair colouring services, including highlights, balayage, root touch-ups, and creative colour transformations.
- Maintain strict sanitation and hygiene standards throughout all procedures to ensure client safety and comfort.
- Educate clients on aftercare routines and product recommendations to prolong their colour results.
- Upsell retail hair products and treatments that complement the client’s colour service, enhancing their overall experience.
- Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments,



greeting clients warmly, and handling payments efficiently.
- Stay current with the latest hair colouring trends, techniques, and industry best practices through ongoing training and research.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Hair Colourist or in a similar role within a salon environment.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse clients.
- Skilled in various hair styling and colouring techniques with an eye for detail and precision.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for maintaining a clean work area.
- Ability to upsell products effectively while prioritizing client needs.
- Excellent communication skills to explain procedures and provide personalized recommendations.
- Experience working at the front desk or handling retail sales is a plus.
