Duties
- Lead and motivate the barista team to deliver outstanding coffee and food service with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Oversee daily operations of the coffee station, ensuring smooth workflow and timely service
- Maintain cleanliness, food safety standards, and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Train new team members on beverage preparation, POS systems (Point of Sale), Micros POS, and customer service protocols
- Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations accurately during shifts
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and ensure proper food preparation procedures are followed
- Address customer inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience and foster loyalty
Requirements
- Proven experience as a barista with strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage customization
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in the food industry or food service environment
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS and cash handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling practices, and proper sanitation procedures
- Ability to perform basic math for transactions, inventory counts, and cash handling accurately
