Overview

We are seeking an energetic and motivated Head Server to lead our dynamic food service team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily restaurant operations, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and manage a team of servers and food service staff. Your leadership will drive the delivery of high-quality service, uphold food safety standards, and foster a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Duties

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of servers and food service staff to ensure smooth restaurant operations
- Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service, addressing guest needs promptly and professionally
- Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain quality standards and consistency
- Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Conduct interviews and participate in hiring, onboarding, and training new team members
- Monitor food safety practices, ensuring compliance with health regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Assist in kitchen operations when necessary, including food prep, cooking, and bartending tasks
- Handle customer complaints or concerns efficiently to maintain guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, bar stations, and service stations




- Support restaurant management in inventory control, ordering supplies, and scheduling staff

Experience

- Proven experience in food service roles with a strong background in serving, bartending, or hospitality environments
- Supervising or team management experience within a restaurant or similar setting
- Familiarity with restaurant management systems such as Micros POS or equivalent platforms
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Experience with cooking, food preparation, or kitchen operations is highly desirable
- Solid leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Previous experience in hotel or barista roles is a plus but not required
