Boniface Hospital Department / Unit: Diagnostic Imaging - Portering Clinical Support Anticipated Start Date - End Date: ASAP - Indefinite Anticipated Shift: Days;Evenings;Nights;Weekends Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations. Under the general direction supervision of the Supervisor-Diagnostic Imaging Support and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of Shared Health, the Porter - Diagnostic Imaging is responsible for: transporting and assisting patients; Minimum six (6) months experience in a hospital or recognized equivalent health care setting as a patient porter or other direct patient care position is preferred.

Ability to read, write,



speak and understand English. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment.
