Civil, a division of Norland Limited, seeks an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join its Kootenay operations. This position requires a minimum of five years of experience operating full-size excavators and working with pipe crews. Candidates will work collaboratively to achieve project goals while promoting safety policies and effective communication in office. Key Responsibilities:

- Operate Excavators safely on construction sites
- Collaborate with team members for quality project outcomes
- Conduct daily equipment safety checks and inspections




- Communicate effectively with field crew at all times
- Report project progress and issues to Field Supervisors

Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years of excavator operation experience
- Ability to operate backhoe, dozer, or loader is an asset
- Experience working with various shoring types
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive in BC
- Basic computer skills, GPS experience is a plus
