Red Seal Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic – On Site

Location: Fort McMurray,

Alberta

Wage: $60 per hour

Rotation: 14 days on, 14 days off, 14 nights on, 14 days off

Tools: Provided

We’re hiring a Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic for an on-site position in Fort McMurray.

Applicants must have hands-on experience maintaining and repairing Cat 797, 793, and 777

haul trucks and excavators. Experience with D6–D11 dozers and shovels is an asset.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, service, and repair haul trucks and other heavy equipment.

Complete inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs.

Troubleshoot mechanical issues and document work performed.

Follow site safety procedures.

Requirements

Red Seal Heavy Duty Equipment Technician certification.

Experience with Cat 797, 793, and 777 haul trucks and excavators.

Ability to work the posted day-and-night rotation.





Ability to complete a criminal background check and drug and alcohol test.
