AgeCare has been appointed as the manager of the Generations Toronto long-term care home and is recruiting the Cook on behalf of Generations Toronto.

The Opportunity The

Cook of the Long-Term Care residence is responsible for ensuring that proper meals are prepared and served on time and that work areas are maintained in a secure and sanitary condition. Responds to resident or family member concerns and ensures appropriate action is taken within decision-making authority and/or brings to the attention of the Food Services Manager/Supervisor.

Directs Food Services





Workers in the performance of their duties and assumes responsibility for the operation of the Food Services Department (as required). Current provincial Safe Food Handling Certificate. A minimum of public-school education is required. Must have a diploma/certificate or equivalent in quality food preparation and production.

Salary Range: $26.03 - $27.64 per hour Salary placement based on qualifications and experience. Canadian work experience is not required.
