PDI Representative

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented PDI Representative to conduct Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) of newly constructed homes with homeowners.

The ideal candidate will have construction experience and/or knowledge of Tarion requirements and new-home construction practices. Candidates should be comfortable using a computer or tablet and communicating professionally with homeowners.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspections with homeowners in newly constructed homes
- Walk homeowners through the home and identify deficiencies or areas requiring attention
- Document inspection findings accurately using a tablet or computer
- Explain construction components, finishes, and basic home maintenance to homeowners
- Complete inspections thoroughly and professionally, typically taking approximately 2 hours per home
- Follow applicable construction practices, standards, and Tarion requirements




- Maintain a professional and positive relationship with homeowners and builders

Requirements:

- Previous construction, home inspection, or Tarion-related experience is preferred
- General knowledge of residential construction practices and standards
- Comfortable using computers, tablets, and inspection software
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills
- Professional, reliable, and comfortable working independently
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence and reliable transportation
- Ability to walk through and inspect newly constructed homes for approximately 2 hours at a time
- Ability to travel to multiple sites per day using own vehicle

Training will be provided to the right candidate.

Pay: $30,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
