Cross® has an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist to apply clinical knowledge and skills to a variety of processes we have in place to meet the needs of our customers. The primary focus will be on pharmaceutical and disease state knowledge to support the determination of drug eligibility via special authorization. A Baccalaureate degree in Pharmacy, a minimum of three years’ experience in a hospital or community pharmacy and a license to practice in Alberta.

Strong clinical skills, good attention to detail, and a commitment to quality customer experience are required for success in this position and will be critical selection factors. Computer proficiency,



particularly with Microsoft Office is required (i.e. Word, Excel, and preferably Access).

Demonstrated leadership abilities, presentation skills, and experience with drug utilization/claims profile reviews and in the areas of pharmaco-economic and pharmaco-epidemiologic assessment would be definite assets.
