Our partner is looking for a Clinical Pharmacist – Clinical Drug Services based in Canada. This role offers pharmacists the opportunity to apply their clinical expertise in a non-traditional healthcare setting focused on pharmaceutical knowledge and customer outcomes. This is an opportunity for a motivated pharmacist to broaden their impact beyond traditional hospital or community practice.
You’ll work within an innovative, collaborative, and team-focused environment that values quality and professional growth. Apply pharmaceutical and disease-state knowledge to support the assessment and determination of drug eligibility through special authorization processes. Contribute clinical expertise and analysis to Drug Review Committee activities.
Conduct drug utilization and claims profile reviews to support informed clinical and coverage decisions. Apply robust attention to detail and clinical judgment while maintaining a high standard of quality and customer experience. Support processes and initiatives that promote effective medication management and positive outcomes for customers.
Contribute to a collaborative,
high-energy team environment and participate in opportunities that require leadership and presentation skills. Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy. Minimum of three years of experience working in a hospital or community pharmacy setting.
Current license to practice pharmacy in Alberta. Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality customer experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel;
Experience with drug utilization and claims profile reviews is an asset. Knowledge or experience in pharmacoeconomic and pharmacoepidemiologic assessment is an asset. A satisfactory criminal record check will be required following a conditional offer of employment.
